This recipe was created by my toddler and it was a fun project for him. We used different kinds of nuts and fruits. Feel free to use any nuts, fruits, dried fruits to make your delicous Cake Pops.
Ingredients
- 1 cup nuts. I used almonds and cashews
- 1 cup dried fruit and/or dates. I used dates, dried cherries, apricots, raisins also Goji berries
- 1 ½ cups raspberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 Tablespoon sesame seeds, optional
Directions
- In a blender/food processor blend the almonds and cashews.
- Add the dried fruit mix, continue blend until it comes together.
- Add 1 cup of raspberries, mix with a spoon or pulse for a few seconds.
- Carefully add the rest of the raspberries.
- Make balls, stick the tooth sticks.
- Freeze for at least 2 hours.
- Otherwise, line the container with parchment paper.
- Press the mixture into the lined container until you get a firm layer.
- Sprinkle with coconut flakes or grated nuts.
- Freeze for at least 2 hours.

Notes
American Pediatric Association advises to use only crushed or grated nuts until age 5.
